You will want to keep your rear sway bar for all forms of racing. But, you will be OK on the street without one, just don't go all Johnny O'Connell into the corners. haha

I'm not sure why but some of the guys remove their rear swaybar at my local spectator drags events. Do circle track drivers remove their swaybar typically?

Car will handle real bad. The rear bar helps to keep the body from twisting. Big mistake to take it off.

I've never heard of drag racers removing the rear sway bar. Now a lot of people do remove the front sway bar for drag racing to help with weight transfer. But for drag racing you want a stiff rear sway bar.

Not drag racing. Spectator drags. It's a drag race around a short oval track. Requires slight turning.

Nobody should do this for drag racing!

Well keeping the rear bar on will reduce rear body roll, which should help the car handle better. IMO, I would think you should keep it on and have an advantage over the people who have removed it. haha The interference with the 9-inch is actually very common. Most aftermarket bars will contact the torque arm adapter on the rearend and you'll need to "clearance" it to prevent it from hitting.

Very cool, thank you. Haha, most people prefer the u-bolt type...so thankfully we make both.

I am almost positive, a lot of older cars did not come with rear swaybars. Especially cars without a sporting intention. I even think they were uncommon in Cup cars up until the late 80's.
