what to do?
i Bought a 1998 Trans Am WS6 that has been lowered. The car has 315/35zr17 on the rear of the car. The previous owner put aluminum blocks to space the bump stops they are actually sitting on the axle. I love the height but i need some ride out of this thing. Suggestions??

Get different tires then or raise height of rear with springs. Not all 315's are the same in overall width. Most nitto's, hoosier and vredestein are "thinner" 315's. Goodyear, BFG tires are monsters usually which will rub.

David I have the answer for you. Drive that TA up here to Alliance and let me blow the tires off the rearend for you then you can put some new narrower tires on the rear. lol

No qtrs are not rolled. I don't know if the rubbers are installed. Here is what i do know the offset is wheel is as such it would rub on the qtrs if i remove the aluminum blocks. I know you can't have the body as your suspension. The body is sitting on the rear axle on the right side and the left side as a 1/8 between the rubber and the axle. I will probably end up using the Ws6 rear springs or put spacers on the Lowing springs to give me some travel.

TTMs, 17x10.5, 44mm offset. Have your fenders rolled and get an adjustable panhard bar (Founders has a good one for cheap). Remove the spacers and you'll gain a ton more wheel travel. You may have to bfh the inner fenders but tons of people have ran that exact same wheel/tire combo on slammed fbodies with no issue

First thing to do would be to buy an adjustable panhard rod, get it installed, and center the axle under the car. That may solve a lot of your potential rubbing issues, since the lower the car goes, the further towards the passenger side the axle moves.
After you take the bump stop extenders out and get the panhard rod adjusted, if you still have some rubbing, it may be as simple as just BFH'ing a few spots to get the clearance you need.
You might also try some adjustable LCAs (lower control arms) for the axle; if the wheels aren't centered, you might be losing some travel before the tires hit metal because they're pushed too far back.
