WS6 w/FE4 rack & pinion ?s
1. the driver side bolt that I plan on cutting off will the orginale bolt (new from dealership) fit upsidedown?
2. I'm thinking it will w/ adding a few spacing washers to keep it off the oil pan?
3.if I'm able to obtain a oem bolt at junk yard are both bolts the exact same size?
4.lastly for right now will I need a fork tool to remove the tierod ends? or are they just beaten down w/ a BFH?

2. I don't think spacing was necessary, but I used an allen head bolt I bought at Fastenal.
3. Yes
4. I always just use a BFH. Rented a fork one time, and it seemed like it was going to tear up the boot.

I used the allen bolt because that's all Fastenal had in stock that was at least grade 10.9 in the correct length. I already had the sockets for allen bolts, so it didn't matter I changed one of my tie rod ends last year or the year before, don't remember what brand I went with. Helpful hint, before swapping your old rack for a rebuilt one, make sure you took the jam nuts off just in case they didn't give you new ones. Had to turn around and drive right back, doh!
