Question SS vs. Z28 struts

Is there any difference between the struts (front and rear) on 98-99 Camaro SS's with no SLP options and the same year Z28's?
My SS has Decarbon "K6" struts. I ordered a set of takeoff struts from SLP and they sent me Decarbon M48's. Being my SS has the base options I'm thinking the stuts are the same as the Z28's, am I correct?

Thanks

SHOCKS ... F-Bodys have freaking SHOCKS!!!!!!!

Struts are a integral part of the front suspension.
F-Bodys have upper A arms ...

/rant - I feel better ...

No difference in the SHOCKS ... spring rates ... maybe, but the shocks are the same

Thanks for the info, I seem to have forgotten the difference between struts and shocks.
I guess I'm good for the strut swap then.

^LOL

On a side note though, 3rd gens do have a strut based front suspension, Mitch. So not ALL f-bodies have upper/lower A-arm suspensions. Given this is an LS1 tech board though, I think there's nothing wrong with leaving the '4th gen' portion omitted as a given.

Mitch, you're cranky today

Hey Mitch, I was looking at some X-Drilled rotors recently to enhance my braking performance. Tell me what you think about those.

There is the 1LE option which would give you
Konis I believe (?), and there is the SLP Level 1
option which would give you Bilsteins. An SS that
went through SLP's shop might or might not have
had either of these on it. But no 1LE or Level 1
optioned car would have DeCarbons as far as
I understand.
