BMR LCA Relo-Brackets not fitting on 3 channel 10 bolt.

BMR LCA Relo-Brackets not fitting on 3 channel 10 bolt.
Hey guys,
So I just had my old busted 4 channel 10 bolt swapped out for a 18k mile 3 channel 10 bolt. (Along with a bunch of suspension parts and 3.73s)
They couldn't get the BMR relo brackets on. They showed me too and there is just no way they will fit, it looks like the emergency brake bracket is in the way.
I have UMI SFCs and LCAs in that area and I don't know why it won't fit because I was told it would with these parts.
Could this be because of the 3 channel rear? I just don't understand, has anyone had any problems like this before?

So every car does this to have relo brackets on? I'm positive I didn't have to do this fabrication when I put relo brackets on my LT1.
Sheeesh.

You will definitely need to trim the emergency brake cable bracket which is something that needs to be done with any aftermarket relocation brackets. This only pertains to 1998 and newer f-bodys because the emergency brake cable bracket isn't wide enough to allow the relocation bracket to slide up and in place. The emergency brake will work just fine with the barcket trimmed so you won't have to worry about that.The reason you didn't have to do it on your LT1 f-body is because it has a different style emergency brake setup.

Yes I see what you mean. Well I'm happy that I can at least make these work.
Suspension should be loaded when I do this. And what would you say is the best spots to have the jackstands at?

The relocation brackets you have will defintiely work. The suspension doesn't have to be loaded when installing these relocation brackets because they are located using the shock mount on the rear end. Honestly like to set the jackstands underneath the chassis of the car so you can move the rear end back and forth a little bit to get everything lined up a little easier.

The relocation brackets you have will defintiely work. The suspension doesn't have to be loaded when installing these relocation brackets because they are located using the shock mount on the rear end. Honestly like to set the jackstands underneath the chassis of the car so you can move the rear end back and forth a little bit to get everything lined up a little easier.

Yeah cut that bastard off. It also attaches on the other side and it's enough to hold it securely in place. There's various install documents out there with pictures showing exactly what and where to cut.

That is something that is more optional than anything else but our instructions have you drill that hole so you can bolt that emergency brake cable bracket in place. I can tell you from experience that you don't have to do that because the emergency brake cable bracket is still mounted to the rear end using the lower control arm bolt.
