Default Aerospace/strange brakes and alumastar front runners

Just wondering what you guys think about them? I am trying to fit a 15" alumastar up front and the stockers just aren't gona let me do that without more grinding and a spacer. Plus I need some better stopping help with my fat pig. I wana do the strange drag brakes but I still drive the car around on the street. Who drives on the street with the strange brakes?

The Aerospace brakes are the same basic race style brakes as the Strange. Difference between the two brands will be weight and quality. The Strange brakes are by far the best out there, and MWC has the lowest prices and expert tech help for you!

I think my pro2 rotors are worth it for street duty.I get them way hot, people see sparks coming out the rim. there purple but still stop and the pedal feels fine. no warp or anything with the loose style pro2 rotor.

Are those the name of the strange rotors?

We run Strange brakes on our shop cars and see double duty on the street. While they may not be ideal for a daily driver, there would be no issue with them on a car that still sees some street time. We also road course our cars occasionally.

The Pro2 rotors are the latest design from Strange. It is the same basic materials in the rotor itself, but it is a 2 piece design with an aluminum hat. The hat and rotor are locked together with opposing male/female teeth for a firm engagement, and is retained by a snap ring. This design is used to prolong the life of the rotor and reduce the tendency to cup warp commonly seen with the 1pc or bolted together 2pc designs.

Give us a call when you decide on the brakes or if you need tech info. MWC is a direct dealer for Strange and guarantees the lowest prices.

Strange quality is second to none. I just put their street brakes out back. Car still needs parts so I have not driven on them yet to give you feedback. I personally wouldn't do drag brakes all around if it sees street duty. I'd put lexan windows all around before I would do that to mine.

For what it's worth, I run 15"x3.5" Alumistar 2.0's (2.25" backspacing) with stock LT1 brakes. No grinding and only a very thin (4mm) spacer. If my brake pads weren't new I could probably get away with no spacer at all.
