separaing control arm help

Default separaing control arm help

Hey guys i need some help. My bushing on my control arm to frame squeaks and creaks every bump or little stone. I have everythig i need apart to get the control arm out just need some advice how to get control armseparated from the back of the hub. I have a pic, just some advice how to separate it would be great.

Control arm from the back of the hub? Do you mean separating the ball joints on the control arm from the spindle???..... Just take out the cotter pin and take off castle nut and then just put a piece of wood on the top of the stud and hit it out with a hammer, you don't want to mushroom the top otherwise won't get the nut back on after.

Heres the pic. I wanna remove that from the back of the hub..but need some advice

Get a large prybar, and pry down on the control arm. At the same time, give the spindle a couple good whacks with a BFH, it should pop right out.

Cool guys thanks..have any suggestions on what bushing to put back in? Im just replacing the control arm to frame bushing. .and maybe a trick to getting the old one out..

Well guys wasnt the control arm bushing...was the sway bar to frame bushing. The bushing wasnt originally put on right and the sway bar itself was rubbing on the frame..easy fix!
