Pete Z Bar Pictures
This is for anyone interested in what they look like. So far I am happy with them. I am running them without the torque arm. I only have a couple testing days on them so I don't have any track results yet. I had to shorten them slightly (about 1 inch) and re-tap them to get my pinion angle right which I did tonight.
When you step on it, you can literally feel the rear axle plant in to the ground while the rear of the car lifts. Very neat feeling.
You will have to cut and paste these links.

Madman recomends leaving the TQ arm on the car but leaving the front trans mount free floating in a 2x3 box incase something breaks. Personally I see no reason to do so.
So far the car feel 100% normal in corners and over bumps. However, since I have no front sway bar and I was driving around on DR's @ 18psi, I was not banging corners real hard. No problem with driveways or suspension travel yet. More will come as I drive it more.

I was wondering that myself - couldn't quite tell from LIL SS's pictures, so I looked up the part on Madman's website (link at right -->) and I think the "upper" control arm just bolts to the lower control arm via a spherical rod end. I guess there's no other convenient attachment point on the chassis for the upper arm to connect with.

The upside down set up was the Lakewood lift bar kit. After getting 2 pairs from various sources, I saw they were all starting to break in 2 different spots. I decided they were too weak to put on a car with no TQ arm.
The front heim connects to a bracket that comes with the kit.
I am using Hotchkis LCA's and the Pete Z bars are built to use them. There are 2 holes in the Hotchkis LCA's that the PZ bars bolt through.
I am planing on buying a set of tubular LCA's, using my tube notcher to make the upper bar, making a real ladder bar for the rear in the future. I would also be making a braket for the front to adjust ICG but this wont be done tomorrow. Just enjoying being able to drive the car right now
