adjustable torque arm question
Ok guys, I just picked up a 98 m6 z28 and I'm wanting to put the umi adjustable torque arm and relocation bracket on it to support it's already existing mods. Will this one work? It says its for a t5? But when I search with a t56 option in summit it only gives me 1 option and it's not a umi one. http://m.summitracing.com/parts/upi-2202-b

Still supporting a sponsor by purchasing UMI through Summit
For a T56 car you can use any tunnel mounted torque arm, or a Full Length Replacement and the 2207 Relocation Bracket.
Depending on your exhaust set up we have two different tunnel mounted torque arms. One will have less ground clearance but more exhaust clearance. The other more ground clearance, less exhaust clearance. If you'd like to give me a call to discuss your options, I'd be glad to help!

I have full length headers to a catless y to a 3 inch magnaflow. Right now it looks like the torque arm hits the exhaust right where the y starts to go to one pipe.

We also have this option, which offers optimal exhaust and ground clearance, as well as multiple mounting positions for the torque arm.

On a side note, we ship skid after skid to Summit. Their electronic ordering system tells you when the skid with your particular part (the part number you're inquiring about of course) is scheduled to be on a skid.
You can always call Summit - if you're so inclined - and ask them to drop ship.
Please don't skip ordering due to the electronic date. We can fulfill most orders immediately and if not, we can fulfill within a few days. For example if we just built 20 torque arms and they're already taken, and you're number 23, we are probably welding yours when you call.
Hope that helps.
