Drag wheels and tires with ABS
So I put some 28x11.5s on the rear with some 26" tall sportsmans on the front of my 02 Firehawk. The ABS light immediately came on. When hitting the brakes. It pulled to the right HARD. Almost made the car swap ends. Or had a very stiff pedal. Like stepping on a concrete block. Now I know the different size tires would cause the ABS light to come on. But will the ABS light being on cause my brakes to act stupid? Can the ABS be turned off in the computer?

You can not just turn abs off threw the computer. If you want to run that setup you will have to do a abs delete.

I just unplugged the rear harness that goes to the rear end housing, covered up the lights with electrical tape, and brakes no longer try to kill me when stopping semi hard.

All my brake lines on my car needed to be replaced. All the lines on the car now are non abs lines. Plus the abs block and stuff is gone. Hopefully in your case you can do what the poster above me did instead of doing it this way.

When I had a mushy pedal I took out the abs fuse and I swear the pedal got firmer. I dont trust that system in my car, always been kinda goofy, having to rebleed brakes etc. I did end up getting rid of it.

I am having the same issue. Which abs fuse do I pull? There are four of them. Abs bat1. Abs bat2. Abs bat sol. Abs ign
