Default speed engineering torque arm

Hey guys, I have a 99 camaro with a 6.0 swap heads, cam, full length headers, and speed engineering 3in full length exhaust. I was going to run their torque arm kit, but I am wondering how good the torque arm really is. does it have good adjustment and is it made well?

Long or short arm? I have the non adjustable long arm and it fit great. no issues. Everything looked really well made and install was easy while laying on my back.

I'm going to go with the short mount with adjustability. can you tell a difference in how your car hooks up?

What brand LTs? Sometimes the tunnel mounted arms are funny about exhaust clearances.

My Sphon short tunnel mount clears my exhaust just fine and is made very stout and is adjustable. They offer two different cross-members one is straight one has a dip in it. I had the dip one but got my exhaust tucked up super close so went with the straight one for more ground clearance. Scored it for a really good price with free shipping during a 4th of july sale two years ago.

pretty sure Speed Engineering only makes one torque arm...not sure if it’s short or long.

i havent been able to find much info on Speed Engineering’s TA, but there was one thread where the guy had some fitment issues, but said it seemed to be a sturdy piece. I’ve been looking at this piece as well due to price point, and the fact it’s built with the drive shaft safety loop right into the design.

if its anything like their 3in exhaust kit then i can see some fitment issues. I had to cut up the exhaust and weld it back to make it fit in my car, but that wasn't bad. I just don't want to cut a mount that has been "engineered".
