Default Time to lower the camaro opinions needed..

Im going to buy some springs and a set of shocks, what is everyone's favorite? I just want it lowered about an inch, I've heard Eibech's will make the driver side an inch lower than the pass side, does anyone know if that's true? How are the blistein shocks? My goals are to lower the car an inch and for the handling and traction to improve. Thanks in advance.

The springs will not make the drivers side lower than the passengers side (unless one side of your car is really heavy ). There are not left and right springs, so how would they only make one side low? What if you mixed them up (since they are not marked). The issue seems to be with the build of these cars. GM was not real consistent when they assembled them and some seem to sit "funny". If you only want to lower about an inch, I'd look at the SLP/Eibach springs and try them.

Eibach Pro springs and Bilsteins shocks should give you the results you're looking for, you'll also want to get an adjustable panhard rod. When going to lowering springs you need to be carefull of the back spacing of your wheels, stock wheels should be fine but some aftermarket wheels may cause tire rub.

holy thread resurrection batman!

My camaro sits a little lower on the passenger side than the driver side even with stock springs. I think it is just the nature of the beast to sit that way.

Scratch my recommendation for the SLP/Eibachs. I've installed more of them and they often don't lower the front at all.

I have the full hotchkis suspension. I have been happy with the set up. The springs ride great with the koni single adjustables.

Never mind. Refined my search, found my answers. No bashing, please.
