If your car is lowered and you are serious about traction at the track they are.

I am lowered, but not enough to where I need relocation brackets. I have no traction issues.

They are not needed for stock height.

Hi Folks
If you have wheel hop, you need the bracket - I plan on getting one because I have severe wheel hop.

Maybe this info will help those that are not quite sure of the purpose of the relocation brackets. I have seen this topic discussed alot and it seems to bring confusion

At stock height you will notice a considerable amount of improved traction and less wheel-hop though. I installed mine before I lowered the car. It's a huge difference, night and day.

This is a good question. What is the difference between a bolt in style and a weld in only? Who makes the bolt on ones?

You don't need them to lower the car, they don't affect ride height at all. I installed mine before I lowered and there WAS a noticeable difference in traction. I can't speak for a lowered car without them though. Let me put it this way. Any wheel hop I had before I lowered was totally gone. Going full throttle in first and second gear at high rpms over broken surfaces the *** was completely planted. You can feel the bumps but the tires stay on the ground. It's hard to spin tires now. A very cool and a must mod IMHO and mine are BMR bolt-ins. If you're going to lower, buy Thunder Racings lowering package and some shocks like I did. Do it right.
