Default Best bang for buck on brakes?

My brakes are completely worn out and I wanted to get a set of new of rotars. Anyone know what would be the best bang for buck on those? I was kinda thinking about some Powerslots, but I'm not sure how good those are. Any suggestions?

Brembo blanks (Tirerack) or the Aimco/Duralasts from Autozone are generally considered to the be the best bang-for-buck rotors.

Do you know if they're slotted or drilled?

Solid.

For an actual performance upgrade, buy more aggressive pads (hawk HPS or similar).

Best Deal: Brembo OEM Blanks (rotors) & Hawk HPS pads
Cheaper Solution: AutoZone Duralast Rotors & Hawk HPS Pads (or do a search for cheaper pads that others are using)
There are plenty of other choices but the price goes up from here.

Here is some more info on rotors and pads:

That was the funniest read I've had in a long time! I blew milk out of my nose and I wasn't even drinking!

you wanted best bacg for the buck... having them slotted or drilled will not increase your braking capabilities... it'll actually tend to decrease the performance while also increasing the cost.

I agree with the brembo blanks. The hazards, and price tag of slotted/drilled rotors out-weigh any benefits they could ever actually have.
