a bunch or people are having problems with it maing a "thump" when shifting? Cant get the pinion angle right....blah blah blah. I have solid engine mounts so a thump is the least of my worries. I am just curious if i the spohn ta will hold up enough and definatley need to know if the floor pan will hold up enough for a 6 speed setup. I would hate to have a ta though the floor

I was going to go with that unit but I've decided to go with the Spohn tranny mount unit in chomemoly. I'm also going to use the Yank transmission mount which relocates the TA bushing off the tranny. No clearance or noise issues and I'm not a regular drag racer...

Get the tranny mounted one if it's a daily driver..If it's only a track car get body mounted one.

I got the body mount one. I have no problems with it. I did change the bolt direction that from way it came from spohn. Get the poly mount. I did not like the idea of mounting it to the trans. I am sure GM did it for noise. The part looks good. If you cant adjust it you should not be installing it yourself. I got the digit angle finder from work and measured after I got it together. It was right on. so the one that comes with it works.

I was looking for more clearance. It looked close to me with the bolts as supplied.

I have the body mount torque arm....no thumps....pinion angle was easy to get set-up. It held up to my 618 fpt on the chassie dyno and I am still using it with my twin turbo set-up.
