Default Corvette brakes on F-body

What do you have to do to make this work ?

What do I need to buy and what does it approximately cost ?

If you are looking for calipers only, they bolt right in. If you're looking for the bigger rotors, you will need some sort of bracket to relocate the caliper. UMI, LG, and if you can find a set Bob Bishop, makes the relocation bracket. Depending on all the options you choose, it could run from $250-$800.

So all I need are cross drilled / slotted rotors for my T/A ( stock size ) and I can put corvette calipers on there with no problem ?

Front and rear ?

Here is a link that might help you out from our web page. It shows a quick break down of what is required to do the complete conversion. This conversion is for the rotors and calipers. If you wanted just the calipers you do not have to do all this but wouldn't really get any performance gains from the vehicle, just the cosmetic look.

For rotors I would say pass on the cross drilled/slotted and go with something else, this is my opinion. There is some different options out there depending on your driving style. Trackbird a member of this site would be able to tell you the best choice.

Good Luck

Do the z06 calipers come with the anti rattle spring because mine didn't and the stock ones are different. Does anyone know a part number for them.

thanks

The caliper don't, but if you order the Z06 brake pads, they come with the springs.

This is what I made for my cars.
I started with Bobs bracket.
