Default SFC's and headers?

Just wondering who else has long tubes, ie Kooks long tubes 1 3/4 and SFC's? Any issues? What kind will fit without any problems? Also a kind that has a ds loop would be nice. Any opinions out there? I can't remember if the problems with SFC's were the headers or true duals people put on thier headers.. if it's the dual then I'm ok as I have the SLP 2OTL. Also if anyone has pics please share. I did search back to 2003 and couldn't find anything to tell me about header fitment with them. Thanks as usuall guys.

and here is how it looked on the floor


beacuse i had DD style sfc, i cut, bent, and rewelded the one part of the DD design, (the part that goes from the crossmember to where it actually mounts to the car) so i could have room on my driver side.

Kooks and SLP SFCs, just like above:





No issues, except for when I had the Kooks catted-y. When I had the Kooks catted-y, one of the cats rubbed against the SFC on the driver's side. It was just the tab, and a torch and a bend took care of it.

So with stock exhaust I should have no problems with DD style SFC's? Good deal. Anyone with particular preference for SFC's ?

no problems, but once/if you get LT headers, you may have a problem

Hooker LT's, SLP Subframes, SLP DS loop and Hooker Y pipe with B&B catback. No clearance problems whatsoever. I'd say it is a non issue. The thing to look for is that your exhaust fits inside the DS loop, not whether they clear the SFC's.

As a side note, my buddy has custom 2.5" duals and he can't get a normal DS loop because of it. Eventually he will need a custom setup to run slicks.

SLP SFC's. The bolt-ins, they come powdercoated.

I'm a big believer in weld in. My SLP's immediately changed the feel of the car on the track and the street. DD is the only way to go.

you will not have any issues with kbdd subs. stock or with headers.
oh, yes i'm partial to them. fit great, almost totally hidden from the side,don't seem to interfere with anything. oh, my welder was impressed. (note: he welds stuff from p-51 mustangs to nascar to top fuel motors. he is never impressed...)
