Default BMR TQ arm relocation crossmember??

has anyone used this relocation kit from BMR to mount the TQ arm off of the trans, if so, what are your opinions on this product. Also I have a TSP x-pipe and dumps, do you think I will have clearance issuse w/ this kit?

here's the info on this little guy.

Take the load off of your transmission tailshaft by relocating the torque arm mount with this kit from BMR. This kit replaces your transmission crossmember with a stronger tubular piece that also has an integrated torque arm mount. The mount itself is adjustable up and down to allow easy "instant center" adjustment. Made from heavy wall DOM tubing and 1/4" mounting plates, all hardware included.

I have it with kook/ORY and I like it,it stopped the trans from slamming the floor when banging gears. Not sure how it fits with duals but the picture is deceiving as in the multiple bolt holes look as tho you have a lot of up-down to set pinion angle.Truth is only 1-2 holes can be used if you have any exhaust at all.

I have it... took it off, too much interior interference for me. I dont think it will work with tsp's x system. you may have to 'adjust' it.

I'm using it. I like it. The front holes adjust instant center. The rear adjust on the TA detrermines pinion angle.

Dunno 'bout TSP's x-pipe system, but my 3" Dr. Gas x-pipe system fits nice w/it. No issues. Can use lowest front hole or whatever is need at the time.

For my application it works great.... your results "may" vary-

I should work, I am looking into the relocation crossmember also, I would wait because UMI is coming out with one in about 3 weeks from when I talked to them last week, they claim you won't lose any clearance like you do with the BMR, also claiming that I will be a little cheaper then BMR....

Losing ground clearance will be an issue on a totally slammed F-body; otherwise, you should be fine. Here is a pic on my 96 WS6 with 6spd and FLP Y-pipe.

I love mine. It's a little noisy/clunky, but the shifter feels much more solid and I am having a hell of a time spinning the tires in 1st. I need to get under there and make sure nothing has worked loose.
