Default Brake pedal extrememly soft after brake job

I just got my rotors and calipers replaced after my caliper went haywire and completely fucked my passenger side rotor.

I got the car back yesterday, and the brakes are not very responsive at all. The car stops fine, but after having to push the pedel down signifcantly more than before.

Is this normal with "cheap" brakes, or is this just unnaceptable, period?

definitely bleed, and make sure you have enough fluid in there.

re-bleed, the quality of the pad shouldn't affect your pedal to that extent.

Definately have them re-bleed the brakes. Also make sure they follow the recommended sequence.

if rebleeding the normal way doesnt work then you may have to have the abs system bled also. This will require a TechII or some equivelant to that scanner to control the valves in the abs module.
