I think that this should be one of the first mods done to an f-body. Many people will tell you differently though. You have a lot of horsepower and there are a lot of people with a lot less power who have gaps and their panels and the doors arent aligned properly. I would get weld in, but bolt in isnt really a big deal. I have BMRs, they make a high quality product.

Really, I'm not that far off from what hp rating you have, and FWIW if you will be doing quarter miles, you should get SFC's, but if you're attempting to find the "cure all, prevent all" for NVH and handling, look elsewhere. the can be useful when jacking the car up for making quick tyre changes and suspension adjustments, however I have jacked up from those points any times, with and without SFC's and I have yet to develop any creaking as a result from it. If you read many of my posts, you will know that I don't necessarily brutalise my car, but I do run it hard, especially in recent months.

Heck, if you really have that much hp and will be doing quarter mile runs, you'd be foolish not to just go for a roll cage, which will not only benefit you for stiffness, but also keep you safe in the even of a roll over, that is if you're using the appropriate saftey equipment along with it.

Yes, many can be and are wrong with what SFC's really help with, and most of these effects are based off of placebo effects.

These cars should have come with SFCs from the factory. When I had my UMI boxed SFCs welded in, I couldn't believe the difference! Huge improvement.
