Default autox setup with ground controls?

all my mods are in sig. i have the gc coils in the rear with a 150 spring rate. i no longer daily drive this car. so what would be a good match for the front spring rate.

Most guys run 500 to 600 lb/in for their front springs on a AX fbody running GC's and 150 rear. The trend lately has been to go with more; usually 550 or 600 lb/in. It will depend on your tires somewhat. The more grip your tires have, the stiffer the springs should be. I've had good results with 700F/175R running on 13 inch wide Goodyear slicks. For 275 Hoosiers, 600 lb/in would be all you would need. On a good street tire, 500 lb/in would probably be enough. Keep in mind there are other factors too like your shocks, the surface you AX on, and personal preference.

Hoosiers are very stiff, and 600's are too much IMHO. I ran 500's with 315's Hoosier's and 600's with Kumho V710's.... FWIW, that's way more spring than your HD's can handle!

I would go with whatever Sam suggests, he is more qualilfied in this area than I am.

I would also consider at least changing out your front Bils with Konis. You don't need as much shock in the rear, so the Bils might be OK back there, but I believe Sam can cheaply revalve those for you as well.

Shocks and tires are what will make or break a fbody AX car.

I know that Sam doesn't usually revalve "used" shocks. The reason is that if there is anything wrong with them internally and Bilstien has to do any repairs on them, it quickly becomes cheaper to buy new shocks. So, he typically revalves new shocks only (for that reason). I'm sure Sam will correct me if anything has changed, but you might do well to sell your old shocks to someone and use that money for revalves if you wish to go that way.
