I just picked up a set of KYB AGX 8way adjustable shocks and DMS springs for 500. Got the springs direct from DMS and the shocks off ebay. Everything is brand new.
I guess the shocks aren't the most popular on this board but they seem like a logical choice given the price. Whats a brother gonna do.

I just finished putting these things in I love them. Car looks fantastic and the ride is very similar to stock when the shocks are set on 5.

How low are those springs you used with the agx shocks, I was looking at them too, and asking just about the same question...

I went from a 2-1/2 inch gap in the front down to a 1-1/4. The back went from 2-5/8 down to 1-1/2. This was with my 18" wheels mounted. I just need a panhard bar like there is no tomorrow.

For a budget, Hotchkis springs and Revalve Bilsteins from Strano. It'd be about 750, only 250 more than what the other guy paid for his stuff, and you'll be EXTREMELY happy you did it.

Cheap is not smart here. You will end up re-doing something, sometime... you'll spend more money in the end and not have as good a product or performance (or ride) in the meantime.

Cheap is cheap.... not inexpensive, not more cost effective. Looking for "cheap" is why folks buy things and aren't happy with the quality, or things don't work as advertised.

You, almost without exception, get what you pay for.
