Default Was told ceramic pads eat rotors...suggestions?

I am looking to replace my stock rotor/pad combo. Was close to ordering brembo blanks and Satisfied Ceramic Pads but was told to steer clear from ceramics as they are not friendly to rotors. I have the metal metallic type pads which have horrible stopping power and are noisy. Would EBC Green composite pads be a better alternative?

No..........Brembo blanks work well with stock GM pads.

stock GM pads are too expensive. Got any other recommendations? Will probably order the Bendix rotor on sponsor special pricing.

I got EBC Greenstuff Kevlar pads and they warped my brand new Baer Eradispeeds in about a month. I had the rotors turned and switched to GM OEM pads, and haven't had a problem since.

I run autozone ceramics. I think it was $50-$55 for the fronts not sure on the rear. I just could't stand the dust from stock pads I had to clean my wheels everyday. I've had my ceramics for 2 years know with no rotor problems.
