all I can say is that after buying any kragen or autozone rotor one should check it first to make sure it does not need to be turned. Then if its nice and true, install them and pray you dont over heat them. They are cheap because they are made of checp metal.
Some cheap rotors are cheap because they are not perfectly flat when you buy them.
The dude from kragen told me he has many return customers with there rotors that need to be turned some because they are just that "cheap rotors"..and were never turned perfectly flat to begin with...

I had to change all four corners at under 20,000 miles because of warpage. Switched to Duralasts, and 50,000 miles later approaching 70K, Brake pedal is smooth as glass. So, there doesn't seem to be anything cheap about them except the price. You don't always have to spend huge amounts of cash for good auto parts.

$72.00 for both front rotors and on my second set of brake pads on these rotors. Don't be a sap and splurge for a marketing gimmick. No offense intended bro, but 220.00 for rotors is the same as getting mugged at gunpoint in N.Y.C.
Be smart with your money and it will take you further.

You can't go wrong with brembo blanks or duralast rotors. before I upgraded to my current BBK, brembo blanks are what I used for about 70K or hard AXing.
Now, you can definitely go wrong with drilling/slotting/dimpling the rotor face, because they don't offer any better bite, nor better cooling. Better bite is offered with a more agressive pad compound and cooling is achieved with the cooling vanes in the rotor.
