You don't NEED them, but if you're into drag racing, it'll straighten the geometry back out for better launches. That's the only advantage I'm aware of. Your call.

you are the only one that really knows if you NEEd them. you have bad wheel hop? if so, put a pair on and it should tone it down a good bit. but yea, most lowered cars that see track time have relo brackets and stiffer aftermarket LCAs

Yea, unless your having wheel hop, or traction issues they shouldnt be that high on the list.

From the many posts I've read related to LCA brackets, the easiest thing you can do to find out if you need them is this:

Park the car on a level surface. Look underneath the side of the car towards where your rear control arms are. If the front of the control arm is angled down, then you definitely need LCA brackets to also bring the rear of the control arm down so that the entire control arm is parallel, or even, with the ground. If the control arm is already even with the ground, then you can still get LCA brackets to bring the rear of the control arm down to help with drag strip traction. However, you'll run the risk of encountering brake hop and dangerous oversteer. Just do a search on brackets and you'll probably find pics of the LCA's front angling down and replies related to the side effects involved when the lower holes of the LCA brackets are used on cars with no LCA geometry problems.
