Question Why does my rear want to kick to the side when shifting gears?

Adjustable PHR, tubular LCA's & SFC's, shitty springs and shocks (new ones are en-route), stock sway bars. All bolts are tight. This is kinda driving me nuts. I have a feeling that it is related to my gears not being set properly. Could it be? If not, any other ideas???

i've always been told thats due to the rear sway bar(or was it the Panhard bar). but mine doesnt do that.

I've already switched between two different brands of panhard bars, so I don't think that's it.

Question

not gears...........your rear might be off-center maybe... JUST noticed you said 2 panhards >??? are one of your control arms broken?? does your rear look centered..measure how far your tire sticks out from the fender on each side....that will tell you if you are off-kilter...

Go check em' if none of these things are loose/broken, your rear MUST not be centered man...I have heard of this problem before..it HAS to be centered properly or else it will not track straight--you have heard people say they saw a truck 'Dog-Legging' it down the road ?? thats what it means...maybe get a friend to drive behind you for awhile..30-40 mph is fine..don't need to boot it or anything..see if you are tracking straight.

Ok, I just went and checked. The rear is centered, and the lower shock bolts are tight. My new shocks / springs are coming in sometime this week, and I'll check the swaybar bolts when I get the rear jacked up and the tires off. Anything else I should check for?

Tires are good, less than 5K on GS-D3's. I'll check the tracking idea. I'm starting to lean towards global warming or el nino.

i am just throwing a shot out in the dark but could one of your shocks be shot and the other one good..... making the rear twist a little more.... or something like that?

i could be totally wrong but it seems like you have checked everything else and you said you have old shocks on there
