Default Loose Brake Caliper problem

Alright i'm back here again with need of help once again. i posted up here a long while back asking why my front calipers were loose. i took care of the problem by replacing them with new ones (left one actaicualy) so anyways it was working great and all for about a couple of weeks. but then it started getting loose again. and now it's back to were i started at. i tightend the bolts and everything well. but they just make the piston weaker on the caliper everytime i replace them. i have after market rims, could it probably be that? like the caliper can be giggled back and forth making a tangerinish sound when going down the street. this is now both the left and right calipers! anyways need some more help as to why it's doing this

The rubber boot is for the slide pin. If the caliper is loose then that isn't the problem though. If you have to retighten the bolts then put a very small amount of lock tight on them and they will be fine. The factory bolts had some red stuff on the threads originally that kept the bolt from coming loose

Use medium strength thread locker and tighten them to 23 ft/lbs. Don't over-tighten them...they can snap.

i used some red lock tight on there but it still keeps making a clanking sound. when i go to rotate teh disc on the hub with the caliper on, theres almost no resistance. maybe the calipers pistion just went out...again? is that possible?

Did you check the 18mm caliper mounting bolts? They should be tightened to 74 ft/lbs. I can't see how the caliper pistons would cause a clunking noise. Is this the rear or front brakes? The rear caliper pin bolts should be tightened to 37 ft/lbs.

these are the front calipers, i'll go retighten them up and see if that will do the trick. do yall think that the calipers arnt bleed properly and are being loose against the rotor?

The caliper will be loose against the rotor when you have the wheel off. That's because the wheel holds the brake assembly together (This is why it's important to torque your wheel nuts to 100 ft/lbs). I don't think it has anything to do with bleeding the brakes. Is it possible the rattle is coming from someplace else?

Did you check the two caliper mounting bolts (18mm)? I had a clunking noise once from one of my front wheels and it was one of those bolts that was loose. They should be torqued to 74 ft/lbs. Also, did you have your wheel bearings checked? I'm kinda grasping at straws here, because I'd have to look at your wheel assembly to diagnose your problem properly. You might want to have a front end specialist give your car the once over, as well, just to give you piece of mind.

Any shop that specializes in alignments and steering, etc. You could take it to a dealership. But they are usually waaay more expensive.
