Default rattling noise

so i put Eibach springs (pro kit) on my car. i went ahead and changed out my rear shocks and front struts at the same time. however, i couldn't get the shocks/struts i wanted do to special order, so i put Monroe sensotrack (sp?) on my car. it handles find, but it sounds like my front suspension is loose. it rattles when i hit bumps. everything is tight as hell, and I'm wondering if anyone knows what is causing it? is it just the cheap shocks up front? they were 75 a piece, and i wanted to get kyb's, but again, special order and my car was already apart. thanks in advance....

It could be a lot of things, but might as well start with the easiest first and check to make sure all the bolts are tight.

I had the same kind of rattle in mine, I chased it for a long time, finally took the strut out and compressed the spring and tightened the nut on top of the strut about 1/8 turn and the noise is gone. I guess the nut just wasn't quite tight enough.

edit: so i just got back from Firestone. one dude said that when the new struts were going on, there should have been a washer that put the bumper stop higher up..... i think that terminology is right. anyone concur?
