I have the Sportlines and they are a serious drop...about 2 inches. The stance looks very good and the car handles better than I thought considering the less than optimal spring rates. I am very careful and haven't scraped my Hooker LTs yet...

i have the prokit with kooks longtubes and have only scrapped a couple times, but those were pretty steep entrances. for daily driver id say go with the prokit, even though the sportlines do look good too

I would recommend the Pro-Kit...it is barely acceptable on stock shocks. I would imagine the Sportlines would be treacherous out there, especially with longtubes

Here is my old 1998 TA with a Pro-Kit on 18s, just for a reference...

many people on here are running sportlines w/ LT's and have no problems... it just really depends on how much of a drop you want (sportlines will hurt traction a bit more than the pro-kit) but do look a lot better

And for something that's really performance oriented that makes the best use of the money without creating much discomfort yet harnesses the best attributes of what a 4th Gen F-body should've been like for many of F-bodies sold:

And like OldeSkool has mentioned, there are much better springs out there. From my experience, Eibach pro-kit springs are overrated and Sportlines are absolutely dogged when it comes to either comfort or handling.

I know it's a lot to digest, however what is the ultimate purpose of the vehicle is a good question for when modifying ride height and/or trying to improve handling.

Sportlines are lower, but everyone I've talked to says they're bad from a handling perspective. Given the choice of those two, I'd go with the Pro Kit and good shocks.

I don't remember what the respective rates are off the top of my head. But it doesnt matter because with the sportlines, you'll be rididng around on bumpstops half the time.

Quick Reply: pro-kit or sportline??
