Default What tq arm will work w/ 9" and td

Well I think it's time to upgrade the torque arm, and I'm just wondering what will fit with my setup so I don't have to worry about it not working during the install

I have a moser 9" rearend with 3" true duals that end before the axle. Any proven fits would be very helpful. Thanks

Our transmission mounted torque arm will clear with a true dual system and fit on a 9". The pictures below show this item installed with a true dual system, it actually adds some addtional clearance over the stock arm. If you have any questions please ask and I will be glad to help.

Most of the after market torque arms will do the job. HOWEVER, many of the after market arms have a problem with the Moser 12 bolt design. The bolts holding the torque arm at the rear tend to back out. Since you are going with a 9", you should be OK.

Just use drilled bolt heads and safety wire. Zero Problem in the four years I've had my 12 bolt.

Ryan, do you have a body mounted adjustable T/A for the same setup? Wouldn't that be better for him?

Unfortanutly the body mounted torque arms will not clear with a true dual exhaust system unless it is custom built around the torque arm. The system he is running with a x-pipe and dumps before the axle needs a transmission mounted torque arm for the clearance.

Hope that helps!

My tranny mt BMR Tq Arm fit with my 9" and true duals.

I am switching to the chassis mt tq arm, and like Ryan said, I am having my new exhaust built around the tq arm.
