dam thats weird. i took my freinds 99 camaro to the track last week with et streets on the stock 16 inch rims and got 1.60s all day. it gots a 3200 vig, 3.73s and a TnT. the rest of the car is completey stock even suspention. even hitting the car with a 150 shot straight out of the hole, we couldn't get it to spin a bit. are your et streets brand new? maybe you just need to brake them in (smoking them in driveway ect).

I'm a little confused. Are you saying that you just recently started having traction problems once you switched to ET Streets? What size are they and what rim?

I think the diffrence is in the converter. The 4400 yank is a world of difference compare to the vig 4000 I had before.Yes I did just get the et streets. The only thing is the track wasn't as prepped as well as it should!

There is no replacement for a true drag slick imo. You can fiddle around with the intermediate tires but eventually you'll end up with a slick. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> I could have saved alot of money had I not paid attention to the hype on the boards about DR's and the other bandaids.

I had the same problem but with a ST 3500 and ET Streets 26x10.5x15. I upgraded to a 26x11.5 inch wide ET Street. They are 1.5 inches wider each compared to the 10.5
I also use a airbag in the Right rear at 25 psi. My track prep isn't always the best, but I no longer have any spin.
