Depends what your usage will be. Nitto's are better for the street because the sidewalls are stiffer, making so you can still do some high-speed cornering--don't even think about it w/ BFG's. As far as straight line traction, I believe I've heard that BFG's take the gold, but like I said, not a good all-around tire.

Having run both BFG and NITTO drag radials i prefer the Nitto's for all around driving, they wear better(last longer) and they hook at the track about the same. I cut 1.75 (60ft) with both. But BFG's hook much better on the street with out a lot of heating them up first. The Nitto's hook on the street after alot of heating up. Turning i would say Nitto's take the cake there too. Both are same price at Discount tire.

I had the Nitto 555R's the 17" ones..

They are good for the average powered car, but as soon as you get some good power, its time to up to a boot...

If your car makes power I wouldn't bother buying them, they don't last too long on the street (miles wise) and if your car does put down power, you will just fry them..

Better off just getting regular street tires..

If you plan to drive on the street a lot with the drag radials don't get the BFGs. They are scary on the street. I have the BFGs, and mine have now been relegated to track use only. BFGs are supposed to be better for M6 cars than the Nittos.

I've had both the Yoko 032Rs and the BFG DRs on my car. The 032s seem to hook about the same as the BFG DRs but the 032s were 315s vs 275s for the BFGs. One warning-the 032s are loud {mud grip loud}. The 032s handle rain alot better than the BFGs do when new, but both wear out fast so it's kinda of a moot point. The 032s handle alot better than the BFGS do, while launch traction is about the same. So between the two, I would pick the 032s. JMO

I've got a question for you guys. How do you know when to replace your Nittos? They start out with so little tread that they're bald in no time. After the tread is gone how long can you run them? The only place there is visible tread is near the sides of the tires and thats only about a half inch in. I dont want to be going 150+ mph and have my tires go out.

Are you saying these yokohama AO32Rs grip better than nittos and handle just as well? If so I might want those for my next set.
