Is there any real benefit to paying the extra money for the Kenny Brown style SFC's over the style with only 2 attachment points? I'm sure they make the chassis more rigid, but does the extra cost outweigh the benefit?

www.spectaclesolutions.com is almost in your back yard, I would recommend checking them out.....and yes I think the double-D design is the way to go.

If your planning on drag racing often I'd go with the BMR boxed. The DD's are alot heavier. And if you were to ask any of the people on the top 50 list I would bet NONE of them run DD's. Now if your wanting to road race, then thats a different story. I personally went with the BMR boxed, and I love them. Plus some of the DD designs need to be modified if you ever decide to go with longtubes.

go with the Kenny Browns, the "extra" weight won't matter if you just want the best SFCs out there. The car will feel 100% tighter in the corners AND straightline also. I have SLP longtubes and had no problem with fitting the SFCs on. Weld-on type fit perfect. This is the best structural mod I have done.

My KBDD's are on their way for my convertible. I will post install info and results, shortly. It only took jacking up my car and putting it on jackstands once to convince me the chassis needed some help.

So let's say my car has the double diamond subframe connectors, and I want to install some new long tube headers. Would installation of my headers equire the removal of my subframe connectors and the reinstallation of them afterwards?
What I'm asking is if it would be a pain to install LTs with the subframe connectors on?
