Default Which 3PT STB to buy?

Just curious, which 3 point shock tower brace would you guys recommend? I have a 2 pt hotchkiss sitting in my closet, but I decided that I want a 3pt. Whats a good brand and where can I get the best deal?

Why not stick with Hotchkis? On an aside, could you send me a pic or two of your 2-point STB @ matt.watling@verizon.net? I'm interested if you're willing to part with it. You could use that $$$ to buy your 3-point. Just a thought.

The reason I want a 3pt is I bought my 2002 WS6 as a total loss car, and I'm replacing some of the front frame, and the shock towers themselfs. I think it would be best to brace it as much as I can.

Sent you mail about my stb.

I started to do a 3 point and I bought an Edelbrock 3 point STB....it is a really beefy brace. I like that it has a bar across the engine and dosen't depend on the angled arms not flesing at the bends. The bad news is, you will have to remove it to work on anything and you have to pull the windshield wipers and cowl panel to do it. I couldn't get my wiper arms off and bought a BMR brace instead (removed nearly all of the cowl shake). If you want a 3 point, look up Edelbrock.

I checked out the Edelbrock; looks like a nice piece. It wouldn't bother me that it gets in the way of working on the engine; stop me from modding it

Have you got your 3 pt still? For sale?

some say that 3 points arent the the best (And please remember that this is what I have heard) ive been told that under high loads that the 3 point will take the flexing of the shock towers and trasfere it to the cowl and could possible crack the windshield. I do belive that it is possible under a hard load, but I dont know if its been done

You could buy my 3pt LG STB
I had it powdercoated orange. Less than 6 months use on it.

The only time I've heard of cracked windshields is when the installer hit the glass while drilling the holes.
