Yes I have a 2002 trans am. And as for the brake hoses, I would like to get steel braided brake hoses, do I get the hoses for a f-body or cts-v?
and as for caliper clearance i guess I should measure for about 1.25 inches just to be safe? And would the rear cts-v calipers be a direct bolt on too?

3rd gen uses struts, 4th gen is SLA. Not even close to the same.

There is a picture of a 13.4 rotor in a 17" rim right above if you look.

Edit: you already saw that pic in the other thread. why are you asking this?

You can always add a 1/8 to 3/16 spacer if you need a little extra.

I'm guessing you want to do the rears for appearance sake?
I have no clue about their fitment.

i wanna double check everything, im currently going to hunt for some 13.4 rotors from a Z51 c6 and some evo brembo calipers and im going to make my own brackets, if this is all successful then we can maybe start selling the brackets to put all this together.

Keep in mind some rims are barrel shaped. They will get smaller near the spoke side. YMMV.

See if you can get a rotor from Autozone so you can mount it and then return it.

Those EVO calipers can't be cheap. What do they run?

so the caliper sits a inch closer to the wheel then a factory set up does? does it push the wheel out any? i have a 18inch 3 peice Iforged and i think i can get these to work in theroy depending if it moves the wheel anywhere.

This stuff does not move the wheel out any. The only thing between the wheel and spindle hub is the brake rotor hub section. The vette rotor and the F-body rotor are realatively the same thickness there. You had better have an unusually large gap between your wheel and stock caliper if you want any chance at all of bolting this on. If you have a wheel that clears the CTS-V caliper, it is a bolt on with the vette rotor.

You would need longer custom lines for this install as the banjo fitting is a bit lower than the stock LS1 setup is, I can provide these. Again, fitment will depend on which wheels are used. The rears will not be a direct bolt on, totally custom setup. I have not yet looked into it as the front issues aren't ironed out.

Banjos, yes, but not the lines.

This rotor doesn't move the wheel out any, it's the caliper clearance that is needed. If you need any help let me know.

If I can use the banjo bolts, then which line do I use? Would CTS-v brake hoses work?

That'd be really cool if you guys could get this to fit. The C6 z06 kit is too heavy..

How 'bout a 14" kit with a C5/C6 base/Z51 PBR caliper?

OR, a 14" kit using a Wilwood 6 piston SL6 caliper?

We can do a lot of things here if you aren't stuck on the caliper.

I am unsure as to what size/type the brake line fitting is on the CTS where it connects to the chassis. We'll get to that once we get the brakes to fit, lines are easy.

Hope you can find it soon so I can do it too I like the cts-v caliper's look better than c6 z06 and i think there would be more pad choices too.

Btw, i am looking for after market rotors for this setup, is DBA rotors any good?
http://motors.shop.ebay.com/_Car-Tru...fxdZ1QQ_ptasZ1
I heard about the oem rotors not being directional so I would like to know what other choices I have for rotors? And has anyone figured out which brake hose to use?

That's not what I said.
The caliper adds about 3/4" and the Vette rotor offset adds about 1/4". That's why I said you need about 1" of spoke clearance if you have stock F-body rotors right now.

Kore3 has offered those brackets for a year or 2 already.

Not only are there a lot more choices, they are much cheaper - as well as much thicker which means they will last longer.
