Default Bought a Hotchkis lowering kit. Do I need an Adj. Panhard Bar?

I was wondering if I need an aftermarket adjustable panhard bar now that I will be lowering my car. I noticed that a lot of you guys/gals are running one. Is it necessary or is a preference thing in order to get more effieciency out of the kit? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I considered it a "need". Your rearend will be off-center when you lower it, though by how much tends to vary (GM's tolerances aren't spectacular when it comes to this). Find a shop that can do four wheel alignments and have them do the front end and center the rearend at the same time.

I totally agree with "chupr0kabra" and we both have the Hotchkis springs and APHR.

Partially on-topic, but I also have Hotchkis on all four's and my my passenger-side rear sits about 2 inches higher than the driver's side. My adjustable PHR is sitting in the closet, waiting to be put on. This would fix the issue, ya?

It might help a little, but more than likely you need to rotate your rear springs. I start with the tails pointing forward and adjust from there. My driver's side is about 1/2" higher than the passenger side, until my fat *** hits the seat.

when you lower it its really recommended, if you spend money on lowering it, do it right the first time...

Plus the price difference between adjustable and non adjustable is not that great either. Go with the adjustable one.

My Hotchkis springs threw my rear off-center by 3/8", so I got an adjustable PHB to fix it.

My rear was centered fine with Hotchkis springs and a non adjustable BMR bar. Comes down to build tolerances I guess. I'd say put the springs in first and see if you need an adjustable bar to get it centered up.
