has anyone done a front brake swap from the new c6 (not zo6) to an f-body?
are these brakes any better than the c5 front brake swap that alot of people are doning?

The base C6 is the same as the C5, the Z51 is the 13.6" rotor but one side is vented backwards (I'd use the C5 for performance/track use) and there are the C6 Z06 brakes (again, one side runs backwards).

I'd just do the C5 conversion (base C6 is the same stuff, so it's the same swap).

yeah i think the c6 calipers look better than the c5 they look beefier. i was looking at a c6 lastnight and really liked the look with the black calipers and cross drilled rotors from the factory.

i went on e-bay lastnight and couldnt find the z51 brakes but they did have the new zo6 brake kit but im not interested in those brakes because of how many indavidual brake pads their are.
