Default torque arm and LCA brackets

does the UMI non adjustable arm come with the bolts to replace the rivets in the clampshell?

and also, i was thinking on putting my control arms on the last hole on the brackets. im at stock ride height so itll be on a nice slope. but im still contemplating about the other hole.

I don't think there was a rivet in mine, although it's been
a while since I swapped the RT arm on there and maybe
I'm just not remembering. But no new bolt for that, I just
reused what was there when I replaced it with the UMI
piece.

What you are asking doesn't make sense...the rivets were in the stock clamshell to hold the metal plates in place. The stock rubber pieces in the clamshell are bonded to said metal plates. You have to drill the rivets out to get the metal plates (and thus the factory rubber) out of the clamshell. That is the only way to install the polyurethane piece that will go in the clamshell. The polyurethane piece is shaped so that it holds itself in place with the clamshell installed and tightened down. No rivets needed.

Does that help?

ok, i thought you needed to replace the rivets with bolts.

also, can i take the clampshell off the trans before taking the rivets out?

You'll have to...there's no way you'll get a drill in there to drill them out otherwise.

make sure u get the polyurathane bushing to replace dryrot one. no bolts for clam shell unless u get the relocation trans mount. just make sure u get high strength bolts for this. last hole is were u want it so it wont try to rotate on hard launches other hole wont help much. kinda like a leverage thing, further hole is for better leverage for lca to prevent axle from trying to rotate up on hard launches.

I used an air chisel on my torque arm mount to remove those rivets.. saves the hassel of removing the whole mount
