You may need and adj. panhard rod. Maybe someone can chime in and tell you for sure, but i believe this is a common problem. When I installed my prokit, I installed a new adj. panhard at the same time.

I don't understand how a shock could do that...after all, he is noticing this when the car isn't moving. The springs support the weight of the car...all the shocks do is damp the springs so the oscillations don't drive you nuts after the suspension is disturbed from its equilibrium point. Am I missing something here?

I agree with MeentSS02... I doubt it's the shock, unless the shock absolutely trashed and somehow limiting suspension travel, but I've never heard of that.
FWIW, my car doesn't sit level... and I think it's 1/4" off in the front (high on the driver front). The interesting thing is when I sit in the car, it's actually level in the front & back! (Sit in your car and have a friend measure the height.) I seriously doubt GM engineered that into these cars, and it's just luck that it turned out this way for me. I've read many threads where it's mentioned that the car doesn't sit level. It seems to be normal for these cars.
One last thought is to re-orient the rear springs... Twist one of them 90° or so and see what happens. You may be able to level it out a bit.

I Have The Same Problem With My 2000 Ss. Lowered, And New Springs, Passenger Side Sits Lower. I Have Tried Everything. Maybe Because Its Mass Produced. My Understanding Is That The Engine And Trans Are Offset 1 In, To The Right. I Don't Know For Sure, And This Is From A Service Advisor At A Chevy Dealer. I Even Put A 1/2 In Spacer On The Passenger Side Purch To Try And Level??

Are you positive the springs are sitting in the pockets squarely? Just for grins, and to do a little "quality assurance" on the springs, switch them side for side, and see what happens.
Also, are the sway bar links adjusted evenly, side for side? One other thing, check and verify the FRONT springs are square in their seats. If your LF isn't sitting correctly, it could be effecting the opposite side, your RR.

Thanks for the reply's I am going to go out to the shop later tonight and see if i can't switch the springs around first, see if that changes anything. If that don't work I'm more leaning towards the shock being shot. I let u know what i find.

finished my shock, spring install the other night and have the exact same problem. i had a full 4 wheel alignment done to make sure it wasnt the panhard throwing the rear off. Not the case. I also am going to switch the springs around. Look forward to finding a cure. if i find it before anyone else i will post for sure.

Well I fixed it! but i still don't know what the real problem is. I took a 5" boat trailer roller that allows the boat to slide on the trailer evenly. Cut a piece a little more than 1/2" thick and drilled a 3" hole in it with a hole saw to allow for the dome on the spring tower tunnel to clear through. I than put it between the spring cup and the "floor board". also the 3/8" was realy 5/8" difference. All and all now there is less than 1/4 " difference passenger side being lower. To allow for my 210lbs It should drive totally level.
Hope that helps someone.
