Default Props for Sam Strano

I ordered a set of Koni's for all corners, and got a 35MM front sway bar. Per Sam this would be a good fit for a full time street car. I finally got them installed after looking at them in the garage for 3 months. My setup is at 90K and all stock.

Took it for a drive, post install on a few curvy roads OMG, I feel like I got a vette in a day. It used to wallow, and sway through the corners. Now it just sticks and still has about 90% of the original comfy ride feel.

So I just wanted to give thanks to Sam, I feel like the 1K I spent in parts has totally transformed the car. A vette without the trade in hit

Thanks,
Keith

Just wondering with just the 35mm front sway bar, what will that help with? Making the car more neutral?

Why not go with front and rear etc? Jw

I put a 35mm front sway bar on mine a couple days ago. It's truly impressive how well these cars respond to just the sway bar. The Koni's will be here next week!

I take it you are still running stock springs? What settings are you running on your shocks?

I felt the same way when my konis went on! I added a rod/rod PHB same time. Then later got the Strano Sway Bars-another quantum leap! Total agreement. Car felt glued to the road. It felt pretty good stock (only 20K miles), but I was super impressed w the improvement, and also thaught it felt "vette like".

Strano knows his stuff!

No two situations are alike. Depends on the conversation I have, we sometimes opt to start with a front bar only and see what happens. You can always get a rear bar later, and really I don't know anyone who hasn't done so on my recommendation that didn't like it. But you can better assess the changes with fewer parts at one time and add things as needed. It's a learning experience and some folks like that.

And I almost forgot... thanks for the props and I'm glad you like your car better now.

Hey i got another thumbs up for Strano. I called him Thursday to order some of his springs and he didn't answer so i left a message. He called me back about 12:00pm and we talked for a few. HE then said he would try and get them shipped out later on that day but if not he would do it first thing Monday. Well about 9:30 i had a knock on the door and it was Fed Ex with my springs. I couldn't believe it. I will never order from anyone else as long as he has the parts i need.

Thanks Again
Another happy Strano follower

More prop to Sam. I have a weekend cruiser that I want to take to the strip. I was ready to spend well over a grand for springs and shocks and a new rear sway bar. When he could've just sold me a bunch of stuff, he actually talked me out of it. Anybody that would more or less turn down sales for the good of their customers truely cares and has a passion for performance. Thanks Sam!

And for the record, I sent them personally--Taskin just chose the slow-boat shipping--as in 4-6 weeks. Ordered on the 19th of Jan, I had to get the shocks here to send by mail, that took about a week. We are just now @ the 4 week mark, you should see them soon.
