HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brake problem
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brake problem just put new pads on my 99 transam no problem done it a million times went to go get something to eat smelt burning brakes turned around put car on jacks to tires off i can spin driver side but left front is completely locked any suggestions

Find anything strange yet... I supposed you could have scuffed one of the caliper pistons and it is stuck. I woulda thought once you bled that side it would have released. Since it didnt thats why Im thinking its a mechanical thing...

Take the caliper off and see if you can collapse it fully. If that doesn't work I would say you need new calipers. If that works you might need a new brake hose. The hose can collapse and not allow the fluid to return from the caliper.
i dont think its the piston on the caliper, if it was he wouldnt have been able to fit new pads in there. check the ebrake, its a horshoe looking thing behind the rotor. when you pull the lever it expands and presses itself against the inside of the rotor
wait you say you smelled burning brakes? if your brake had locked up you would have noticed that when you let off the throttle the car rapidly decelerates. just because you cant spin the wheel doesnt mean the brake is locked. you would have definetly felt a difference not smelled it.

brakes found ou that the brakes where dragging because when i let off of gas i slowed faster than norm found once i took everything apart the front atleast only front gave me any problem i found that the stud that the two bolts use to bolt calliper to the braket they float one was seized into the whole have to order but that seems to be the problem plus i have pressure all the way around now
