Default Can you do a C5 conversion in the rear too?

I was wondering if you can upgrade your rear brakes to C5s as well. I know BMR, UMI, and a bunch of other companies make adapter brackets for the fronts on LS1/LT1 cars but can you upgrade the rears too? Do you need any adapter plate or is it just bolt on? Has anyone done this? Just curious as I've bought a set of calipers/brackets from my buddy's C5. Any help would be appreciated.

No need. C5 rear brakes are very similar to f-body rear brakes. The calipers are about the same size, and the rotors too. While LS1 rear brakes are slightly bigger than LT1 rear brakes, both are totally adequate for 99.9% of users. I don't know of anyone making a kit because there is no performance need.

you need to modify the brake pad clips.
other than that they bolt on without a problem.

do they use F body pad clips with F body pads and rotors or do you have to buy C5 pads/rotors/clips?

Yeah but what if you want the bling bling red calipers? If I were to go to a C5 setup, I'd probably look into the possibility of putting on the C5 rears.

I'd paint them, but that's just me.
