Default Poly. Trans Bushing?

After running ET's a few time, I noticed the stock trans bushing is showing a small crack.
Do you recommend a Polyurethrane one?

very much so the stock one comes apart after a few years...most decent poly bushings connect the top and bottom part so even if the bushing starts to fail at least your tranny doesnt start to flail

Thanks Bill anyone else? I've read about increased interior noise. Anyone experiencing that? How much noise?

I just bought my poly trans mount, but i havent ut it on yet. I hear that there will be a lil more noise/vibrations after, but nothing too bad. The stock mounts are pieces of crap. i can tell mines been shitty since i bought the car .

yah theres very little difference in the tranny bushing alone...its when you start adding poly everything, motor mounts, end links things of that nature that add to the responsiveness of the car but give you a harsher ride. BTW its about a 1/2 hour install if you dont have a lift but know what your doing.

I installed one 3 years ago.
I never noticed anymore noise.

I have an ES design and didn't use the pre-load plate and shaved the bumps off due to drive line angle issues.

Not sure if there is a newer design or not.

Yeah, I had to ditch the pre-load plate and shave the bumps also. With them on it raised the tranny high enough that the rubber stopper on top of the tranny would hit the floor pan.

Well I did it and trashed the plate and shaved the bumps. Seems to be working fine. Couple of WOT take offs and it feels firmer. Thanks for the help Ya'all
