Need advice now!!!

I can get a brand new black or polished Hotchkis STB for $140.00 witch is much less than they normally go for. Should I get it or should I just get a basic two point for $60.00?

I like 3 point STB's on almost every application. I actually bought a 3 point for my own car and was not able to get the wipers off to install it (the car had 1000 miles on it, and I was not in the mood to start breaking things that day). I then went to a 2 point and it is worth the lack of headaches alone (and easier to work on the car). It also seems to remove most of the cowl shake, so it seems reasonable effective.

Just my thoughts.

A 2pt one like the BMR is fine, save the money for other mods.

I thought the STB is useless unless you're pulling major G's in the corners?

Dosen't everyone???

I'd say to buy a 2 point based on ease of install and vehicle maintenance. Just my thoughts.

I read that the third bolt goes into the sheet metal which provides almost no extra suppot. Any truth behind this?
