Another run was ordered on 1/5 (over a month ago). Production takes 8-10 weeks plus shipping to my shop. We are hoping to see them early in April.

Backorders are already being placed, about 10% of what's arriving are already spoken for via out backorder process.

Basically the only way I can guarantee you a set a of springs is if you get them on order early. Orders are filled in order of when they were placed when the springs arrive. I don't charge for the springs at the time of the order, but I do need a complete order with the CC number placed via the website to act as the backorder.

Over some chipped paint?????

Early April I'll have some more, but I'd just hit them with a little touch up paint--can't see why that'd mean you want a whole new set..... They are under the car parts, they'll get chipped, dirty and cruddy.

I was always told that if the paint chips it will rust and get damaged.

We aren't talking about garden variety sheet metal here in the first place...... And all you have to do if you have some chips is touch them up to seal them. Epoxy paint (like for refrigerators) works very well and is very tough.

Thumbs up

For now I am using mine with fairly new Bilstein HD shocks. I know these aren't optimum, but are doing the job decently so far.
Both the ride and the handling seems to be much better than any of my previous setups...DeCarbons/stock springs, Bilstein HDs/LT1 ProKit, or Bilstein HD's/1LE's.
I absolutely would recommend them to anyone in the market as not only the product, but the service has been great.

I can't wait to get back on track at work so I can splurge for some Konis.

The current standard HD valving in the rear has less rebound damping and more compression damping than they used to (more like deCarbon's than they should be), which is why I do a different valving (the rears that make up the set of Strano Spec HD's).

I'm very glad to hear the results are superior to what you previously had. Not knocking it, just letting you know there is even better and the "best" spring in the world can't do a shocks job, and the best shock in the world can't do a spring's job.... but they compliment each other. Clearly the springs have improved things vs. both the 1LE and Prokits you had with the same shocks, and that makes me very happy to know.

I guess I will do that, but what is this spring made of? I am just really paranoid sometimes when it comes to cars, I always like to torque everything down to spec.

Springs are metal, an alloy that is basically spring steel but not your average composition.

You are being more than a bit paranoid some_punk. Touch up the chips you'll be fine. Do you think you need a new car because maybe you get a chip in your paint?
