Deciding to put the TA up for sale again guys...
I put a fairly new motor in it with tons of new parts, pretty much everything you can replace motor wise, the engine has.
When I received the motor that had under 5K miles on, I decided not to take a chance with it so I decided to get the crank turned .010 under with all new mains, and new rod bearings. I put new Piston Rings in the motor, new oil pump, new timing chain, new thermostat, new dryer for A/C. New Engine temp sensors, oil pressure sending unit replaced, freeze plugs are new. New oil, and filter. I also got a new stock cam, which I had polished as well. I sent the stock heads to a machine shop to get remilled and polished up. They looked brand spankin new when I put them back on. I spent about $300 on all new gaskets including head gaskets, exhaust, front seal, rear seal, oil pan, Intake Manifold, water pump. The oil pick up tube is new as well. Oh yea, the piston's came along with the motor...also only 5K
The transmission is also rebuilt, I decided to just leave it in there for the next person to drive it, lucky you. I spent $1450 on the tranny, I also left the tranny cooler on the car, incase you change torque converters.
I spent about $2600 on the rebuild, including all new engine oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze, and frion from when I recharged the A/C system.
The car will need stock tuning programmed to it as well.
That's pretty much it, I'm going to be brutally honest with you...I hate to see this car leave my hands, but I honestly can't afford the expenses right now.
If you have any questions, or concerns...PM me back, or call me anytime.
Body has 79K on it, and engine 5-6K.
Pictures of the TA can be seen here, the Z06 Chrome 18x9.5's rims are currently on the trans-am. I will throw in some salad shooters, with some Mickey Thompson ET Streets for free!
