Additional information and mods

Interested in getting 38 MPG in the city? And 45+ MPG on the highway? All while having a VERY reliable daily driver? If so, keep reading.

Up for sale is a 1994 Civic Coupe DX that is probably the cleanest VIRGIN car out there. This car has only 102,xxx miles on it. CARFAX certified. The 1.5 liter has EXCELLENT manners and still has a bit of "pep" to it. The plugs are in great shape and the engine burns NOTHING!

This is the first year the Civic came standard with dual airbags, painted fog covers, and R134A refrigerant.

This car comes with OEM Honda 14" option alloy wheels on 185/60/14 Goodyear tires.

The good:

EVERYTHING WORKS! A/C blows cold, heater works flawlessly, every vent works, the radio sounds GREAT, airbags have never been deployed, etc, etc.

It has had it's timing belt, water pump, and tensioner replaced at the specified 80k interval and the CV axles replaced within the past 7k miles.

The brakes have PLENTY of life left on them.

The clutch and transmission work flawlessly. No grinds, pop-outs, nothing.

The speakers have been upgraded to Kenwood and the car has a Premier by Pioneer CD head unit in it.

Fresh alignment, tire rotation, tire balance, and oil change.

The not so good:

The car needs tie rod ends. It rattles going over slow bumps. It does NOT affect the driveability of the car whatsoever, but it is an annoyance.

The car's inner door lock switch is broken. A $3 replacement part.

And that's it!

You will be hard pressed to find another Civic in this condition!

The car does NOT come with the short shifter or the EX cluster, but they can be had for slightly more.

Trades will be heard AS LONG AS THEY ARE NOT HONDA/ACURA! I'm really looking for a Jeep/4x4 vehicle.

OEM "Coupe" floormats in mint condition =]

Please PM me if you are interested and keep all negative comments out of this thread!

It's not the strut mounts, nor the struts. They are both in great shape.

Yes it has, my good sir. Along with the water pump and tensioner, of course.

All done at the 80k specified interval.

Did you do the timing belt change yourself? How hard was it? A chick friend of mine needs it done on her 2000 and she doesn't have the $$ to take it in
