Where around DFW can I buy a tranny mount other than the stealerships. Don't care to pay 100 bucks for one. Where can i get one and should I go with rubber instead of poly? I heard if you still have rubber motor mounts, that poly tranny mount= no good. I still have the stock motor mounts so I guess I need a rubber one.

be advised that it doesnt cross refrence to an f-body specifically. they just call it a 'GM Tranny Mount'.

 

+1 for autozone... I think they are $19.99 there and O'reily is $29.99, Same one as a glide/350/400

If you can not find it you have to tell the goofball that works there it is an Energy Suspension brand.

 

thanks for the help guys but I still have the stock rubber motor mounts. Won't a poly one tear up the bell housing or something if the motor mounts are not poly? Or is this Energy Suspension brand a rubber one?

 

they work fine with stock motor mounts.
the autozone in Irving is 24 hours and they have them in stock

 

quit bullshitting and go get on at vatozone, theyre 20 bucks stock or 25 for the enegry supsension one, it aint that big deal..

 

Take your *** to the "stealership" they are $40 bucks, I work at one and just checked. Or I threw one in the trash last week, you can come dig it out if you want.
