Called insurance and they picked up yesterday. Got a rental and everything seems to be going smoothly so far. Thanks all for offering up what you had and your services. I appreciate it. Daniel

Who's doing the repairs? I would have them take it to Lethal Performance in S.A. if it were me.

If I buy it back, I have to fork out the cash plus pay tax on top of that and deductible. So then I have a car I can't drive. Then Wait and save money to buy parts to replace damaged ones. With all my kids and my wife at home right now, til my youngest is at least 2 yrs old or talks to say someone is messing with him, It's just gonna sit there. Meantime, my wife will be yap yap yap about how the car is in the way in the garage. When in reality I need a drivable vehicle right now. So the chances of the car getting bought back are zero to none right now especially with the wife eyeing a particular vehicle in mind. I hate it, but ol well. Thats the way life goes sometimes.

Man, if you knew all of this was going to happen, you should have just fixed it on your own. We would have been done by now swapping out the tranny. Sucks how sometimes the insurace companies screw you over.....

I might be interested in buying the car if its cheap enough. I have all of the parts to fix the car sitting on the shelf at my shop. PM me if you want to get a price on the car and make a few bucks for your time.

They gave me my two options. Option one totalled and they buy. Option two, salvage title owner retains and I still get money? The deal is I already got another vehicle. A bigger family vehicle and I keep truck as my daily driver. Wife promised by doing this she would hand me a vettes keys when I'm 40 in 6 yrs. So I got her the Tahoe she wanted. How do I make more $$$$ on this car? Need to get the most to mod my two vehicles. Advise and tips welcomed only.

Depends on what they are wanting for it....... either way its going to have a salvage title which reduces its value quite a bit from a resale value. I'd be interested in buying it from the insurance and giving you some cash for turning me on to the deal providing the car is clean and worth fixing.
