For reference, I saw one for sale in my neighborhood ~2002, N/A, auto, ~125k miles for $22k. I balked at the price then, but clean ones aren't exactly getting to be any more common...

People ask ridiculous prices. I used to import skylines and supras from japan when I lived in Hawaii. People pay insane prices for these cars. The car is nice but the price is way too high for a high mileage auto non turbo car.

Appreciate the interest. No hijack
I'm looking to sell my car so I won't say the price is too high. But I will say for forum members or serious buyers ill work with you. This is just the dealers advertised price and I will not publicly post a lower price. I'm not a dealer however. They do offer warranty and financing but that's for those who want to finance.
That being said you don't find 1997's that often and I believe they only imported till 1998.
Finding one clean title and no accident, targa, and clean inside out is what matters. I've owned a few cars and ill say I respect supras more now that I've owned one.
Yes auto and non turbo hurts but the motors are same and a NA-T setup brings the money also. They are the easiest motors to maintain and the car is a blast to drive.

Being what it is, it's hard to find straight and this one is a very clean. Even these engines are non interference so imagine the power you can build and worst case break a belt? It's a beautiful car!

Btw the value of these really are rising. And building one up with turbos will actually raise the value of them. Can't go wrong with a Toyota.

Nada has gone up while I've owned it.
Nada trade in is $17,800
Nada loan is $16,100

That's strong... Just want to offer to a forum member as I imagine it wont last long.

Btw it's a targa and has leather and the ac works like new.
Also it's a 15th anniversary with appropriate badging.

Bump for seller.

Yes, these cars STILL fetch stupid high prices. Sales of clean Supras are only limited by how long the seller can hold off. Think about it like this, you opened the thread hoping for a low price too LOL

Take it as you will but the Dealer has overhead and often finance charges depending on credit. Im offering a Discount to serious buyers that see this car via this thread.

Thanks for the Bump.

...I see comments on prices but no offers?

It's a nice car, and try are getting harder to find here in the states, and the prices are steadily going up on them as well.. And yes 98 was the last year for us to get them.. :-( I should have bought the 98 Single Turbo one when I had the chance back in 2000, but nooooooo
